Our FarmStay

Hey there Friend,

Come rest, explore and connect with nature on First Fruits Farm. We offer our FarmStay as a refuge from the hustle and bustle of city life just 30 miles from Raleigh Durham International Airport. Nestled on 1000 acres of rolling farmland, pastures, and woods, we welcome visitors to our peaceful, waterfront retreat.

Our wooded areas offer great hiking trails where you can observe native vegetation and animal species, including our resident bald eagles. Our pastures are home to cows, donkeys, pigs, turkeys, chickens, and goats. Our 3 managed and well stocked ponds (the largest being 15 acres!) provide the best fishing in the state. NC State professors and graduate students from the Department of Ecology annually visit the farm to gather data on the trophy sized fish and many species of birds.

Our home has two spacious bedrooms, a modern full bath and half bath, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living room seating and cozy dining area. The simple farmhouse decor provides stylish comfort complete with lots of thoughtful amenities to enhance your stay at our farm. The front porch and upstairs balcony offers beautiful views of the farm, breathtaking sunrises, and idyllic sunsets while you sip some coffee from our coffee station and enjoy a book from the borrow library. Housekeeping and meals will be the responsibility of the guests.

Our home can accommodate up to 8 guests. Children are welcome. We encourage catch and release fishing from our ponds. Fishing rods, artificial lures, and live bait is available for an additional fee or you can bring you own. Quiet walks during the day are a must. And conversations overlooking the water while sitting near the fire pit at night is therapeutic. We invite you to help us perform chores or work beside us in the garden/green house. There is always something to do on the farm! Should you desire to venture out, the Town of Louisburg offers great local restaurants and entertainment, and Wake Forest/North Raleigh is just 30-45 mins away. We look forward to meeting you!
