For us, faith began with a farm. After a successful 7 year career in the NFL, we walked away from the game to pursue our calling on a different field. First Fruits Farm is a 1000 acre farm with a vision to sow seeds of Love in North Carolina and beyond.
North Carolina ranks 10th in the Nation for food insecurity (the state of being without reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food). 1 out of 4 children in North Carolina do not know where their next meal will come from. While the statics may seem discouraging, we know there is Hope. Our mission is to help our neighbors obtain access to fresh produce by growing it, donating it and equipping them to do the same.
Since 2014 we have donated 1 million pounds (over 2 million servings) of fresh produce with the help of thousands of volunteers. Our motto is simple: never stop giving, never stop loving and never stop growing!
