1. Have a Backup Plan
If you're planning an outdoor ceremony or reception, it's crucial to have a backup plan in case of inclement weather. At the Amazing Graze Barn, we have a plethora of indoor and outdoor spaces for you to choose from. Your backup plan will be just as beautiful as your Plan A. Check out all of our spaces!
2. Communication is Key
Communicate the backup plan to all vendors and key participants well in advance. Our team will help with the logistics of creating your back up plan and will communicate with your vendors during the day, but it is best to give everyone involved as much notice and information as possible before the day. In our experience, when everyone is on the same page and aware of the plan ahead of time, this helps things run smoothly if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
3. Embrace the Rain
We can’t control the weather, so consider embracing it! If rain is in the forecast, consider embracing it and having fun with it! We have seen couples use umbrellas for pictures and even pose under a beautiful rainbow.

4. Dress Accordingly
When planning for bad weather, consider the attire for both you and your bridal party. If there's a chance of rain, opt for hairstyles and makeup that can withstand some moisture and choose appropriate footwear to navigate potentially wet or muddy conditions.
5. Keep Guests Informed
At the Amazing Graze Barn, you can have your wedding regardless of the rain. We advise letting guests know this in advance so they plan to attend no matter what.
