Relax
You just had one of your life's busiest days (and let’s face it, months). Take the day after your wedding to go home, book a spa day, read a book, or watch a movie together.
However you and your love enjoy downtime, ensure you give yourself at least a few hours of relaxed, one-on-one time.
Make it Social Media Official
Change your Instagram handle, post a “married” status to Facebook, and (if you have them) post those pictures. It’s time to tell the world you are officially man and wife.
Open Presents
You likely received cards and gifts at your wedding. Open presents with your new spouse like it’s Christmas morning!
Send Thank You Messages to Your Bridal Party
Your favorite people made your day so special. Send a quick text or call each person to say thank you. Thinking of them the day after your wedding will let them know how appreciative you are of them.
You can also take this time to ask them to send any photos or videos they may have taken.
Meet Guests for Brunch
We’re all for making space simply to connect with your spouse. But if you had out-of-town guests attend your wedding, it may be nice to see them one more time before they leave. However, we would not suggest meeting any earlier than brunch time.
No matter how you choose to spend your first day as Mr. & Mrs. we encourage you to savor the wedding day bliss. Your wedding day may be over, but the rest of your lives start today!
